Rotary Lifetime Guarantee
Thanks to Rotary's outstanding Swiss family watch making heritage and the fact that their watches are waterproof, they are proud to announce that they are offering a lifetime guarantee on ALL Rotary watches including the sub-brands; Aquaspeed, Les Originales & Ultra Slim.
Each model is presented with a card-sized guarantee that can be registered by simply logging on to the Rotary watches website (www.rotarywatches.com) to record the watch and owner details.
In order to enjoy your Rotary Watches lifetime guarantee, all you need to do is send your watch back to us or any other Rotary agent for a chargeable service every 3 years. You will also receive a letter/email from Rotary reminding you that your watch is due to be serviced a couple of months before the deadline.
Rotary Ultra Slim
Simply Exceptional...
The Ultra Slim collection of fifteen dress watches underlines Rotary’s dedication to its reputation as a superior supplier of premium quality and elegant timepieces. Both the gents and ladies models have stunning two-step dial designs that complement the classic appeal of the collection as a whole.
The flawless design details include a sleek ultra slim side profile of just 4.85mm, mother of pearl dials and Austrian crystal set bezels. This new specification offers the reassurance that as long as your watch is serviced every three years at a Rotary Service Centre, it will be guaranteed for life.
Waterproof
Rotary originally launched the 'Dolphin Standard' in 2005. This exceptional innovation was designed to remove the confusion surrounding complicated numeric measures of water resistance and simply provides you with the confidence to wear your watch while you 'swim and dive all day'.
The 'Dolphin Standard' marque has now been replaced by the 'waterproof' guarantee. Thanks to Rotary's continuous dedication to development and design, they are now able to offer another unrivalled and unique feature.
Put simply, a waterproof Rotary watch can go as deep as humanly possible and remain impervious to water.
PVD Plating
PVD is a coating technique which is an alternative solution to electroplating (gold plating) and is a technique which Rotary uses due to its superior robustness.
PVD coatings are a better solution to traditional electroplated coatings as they have superior hardness and wear resistance, do not discolour or tarnish, and do not suffer under UV radiation.
The reason behind PVD's superior robustness is the process of application. Rather than the gold being applied to the bracelet or case through electric currents (as per electroplating), the gold molecules are attracted to the target item at high speed and collide on impact. In essence gold is trapped in the surface of the stainless steel item and is ingrained, therefore becoming part of the molecular makeup of the bracelet or case.
PVD coatings are by their nature very thin, typically 0.3 microns, due to the technology used to apply PVD, however this level of micron coating is still vastly more hardwearing than electroplating. PVD is five times more hardwearing than electroplating.
