Restoration
If your jewellery piece needs more than a little bit of TLC we can, in many cases, do a complete restoration. This may include re-shanking, claw retipping, claw replacement, under bezel building, stone replacement, hinge replacement, clasp replacement, removal of scratches, dents, engraving reinstatement.
Remounting
If your jewellery piece is beyond practical restoration or refurbishment, or maybe you’d prefer a different style or metal, we can remount the stones from your existing jewellery into a brand new mount. Ring remount prices start from as little as £100.00.
Ring Resizing
We can resize most rings. Resizing includes cleaning, polishing and rhodium plating. There is a limit as to how far a ring will alter in size (up or down) and that limit depends on the individual ring. For example a solitaire diamond ring will usually have a lot more scope for alteration than an eternity ring. When you call in to the shop, we will measure your finger, taking into account factors such as ring width, ring shape and ambient temperature. We will measure the ring’s existing size and give you an assessment of the time, cost and feasibility to do your alteration.
